ABOUT
Always Bettering Children Daycare aka ABC Daycare is privately owned by Heather Novak. ABC was purchased in 2006 by Amy Dippold and Heather Novak. In January 2019 Heather purchased the daycare from Amy and is now the sole owner. In total ABC has been in operating for more than 20 years.

Our center is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania through the Department of Human Services. All follow their regulations in PA Code Title 55, Chapter 3270 or Chapter 3280. We provide services for approximately 120 children.

We are a Registered KEYSTONE STARS STAR 3 childcare provider.
​
We offer a fenced in outdoor play area, breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack, computer learning and an educational creative curriculum designed to meet your child's developmental need. Activities include story time, art, music, fine motor, gross motor, sensory experiences, science discover, math concepts and cooking projects.

We encourage you and your family to feel comfortable at our center. We have an open door policy and we welcome all of you into our center at any time during our business hours for a visit. Sometimes parents like to volunteer in our facility, please contact us so the proper paperwork may be completed. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

​Our Staff

Each of our staff members must be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years of experience as child care providers. They are trained a minimum 18 annual hours of Child Development. Our staff are trained annually on Fire Safety and Emergency Evacuation Plan. Pediatric First Aid and CPR training is updated every 3 years. We have some staff with degrees in Elementary Education, Human Development and Family Studies, Early Childhood Education and Child Development Associate Credential.
Prior to hire staff must receive a health physical and TB Test. Prior to hire all staff must have up to date responses for all 4 clearances FBI fingerprints, Child Abuse & Criminal Record, and NSOR (National Sex Offenders Registry).
